A character feels coherent when appearance, personality, memory and behavior point in the same direction. Nastia gives you several ways to define that direction, while still allowing the conversation to evolve. You do not need a perfect prompt on day one: start with a clear idea, notice how the companion responds, and refine what matters.

Nastia voice design
Describe how the character should sound, including age impression, warmth, rhythm, texture and delivery. Voice messages can then match the personality instead of feeling detached from it. If consistent reproduction is essential, review the voice-cloning option available in your account.
Nastia personality graph
The current creation flow visualizes six personality axes: Passion, Wit, Warmth, Boldness, Loyalty and Charm. Adjusting traits, romance level and relationship type updates the graph, making an abstract personality easier to inspect before you start a long conversation.
Nastia long-term memory
Memory is designed to bring relevant history back into later chats. It is not a claim that every sentence will be recalled perfectly. Good memory management means retrieving useful details at the right moment, while giving you controls to edit the character or begin again when your needs change.

Nastia visual identity
Choose a look, crop an avatar with drag and pinch-zoom, and use face or body references in generation. In the gallery, Nastia can detect portraits and prefill a face reference, reducing repeated setup when you want the same character in a new location, outfit or image style.
Nastia conversation controls
Edit, reroll, elaborate or delete messages when the direction is off. Bubble density can be Compact, Cozy or Comfortable, and chat backgrounds support fit modes and rotation settings. These options change how a long conversation feels without changing its substance.

Nastia check-ins
A companion may send a message after you leave a conversation hanging. Check-ins are optional and can be turned off. That makes proactive contact available for people who enjoy it without forcing the same behavior on every user or every character.

Nastia shared context
Send a picture in chat and a companion can look at its contents before responding in character. Vision was wired more deeply into chat in the May 2026 update, so an image can become part of the conversation rather than a file the character ignores. That shared context also helps when you ask for a related picture, roleplay continuation or video concept.
Nastia custom backstory
Backstory gives the companion facts about who they are, who you are to each other and what has already happened. A 2025 update increased the backstory limit to 2,000 characters and chat messages to 1,000 characters, leaving more room for detailed scenarios without turning every turn into a wall of text.
